What is i-value?

i-value is an online tool that shows you the value of your damaged carpet. Using i-value puts you in control of your claim and speeds up the process by reducing the need for a site visit, which also reduces carbon emissions - something we believe in strongly.

How does it work?

i-value uses artificial intelligence (AI) to read the structure and material of your carpet, then using current market valuations, it calculates the value, including any accessories you might need.

What do I need to do?

When you receive the text message or email, you simply need to click the link to open i-value. You’ll then be asked a series of questions, like which room the carpet is damaged in and the room measurements (you’ll need a tape measure for that!).

Then it’s as simple as taking a few photographs.

How long does it take?

For carpet claims in simple, square rooms it should take no more than 5 minutes to receive your valuation. For multiple rooms it will take a couple of mins more. If your room is a more complicated shape, or if you have stairs, it’s best to leave a little bit longer to complete the process, maybe 10 mins.

What happens after I get a value for my carpet?

i-value will give you an indication of the settlement value of your damaged carpet, appearing instantly on your claim handler's screen for review and approval. They will then contact you directly to discuss the next steps.
